Ways to Cruise on a sailing dinghy

It is that time of year weather wise on the coast of South Carolina / Edisto Island. Trying to figure a way to dinghy cruise / sleep on an Oday DS III. Any tips or suggestions on how to accomplish this would be greatly appreciated. Looking to spend at least 4 days sailing along the coast.

Read "The Unlikely Voyage of Jack de Crow", by A. J. Mackinnon.

He really did amazing things in (iirc) a Mirror dinghy.

Look for books by Frank & Margaret Dye. They cruised extensively on a Wayfarer. Also check out Small Craft Advisor magazine; they also cover dinghy cruising.

Much obliged to the suggestions and links. Those classic sailing dinghy's are something else. Would love to sail one of them.
