Upstream on the Río Paraná from Buenos Aires to Rosario

I had to deliver a sailboat (20ft) to Rosario city from Buenos Aires city, up the Paraná River. As the current can be up to 3 knots, the trip was mostly under power of the outboard engine (a Mercury 5 hp) and without GPS, only charts and my memory as I did this trip on March this year. This was also a solo sailing trip with a very cold weather (23F or -5C in the morning). I sailed only from sunrise to sunset as this river is full of merchant vessels all day long.
More or less 200 nm in 9 days (many stops and even a full day wasted waiting for a better weather).
