Update on the Defender 1st program

I want to preface this post by saying that I do not work for Defender nor am I affiliated other than as a long-time customer. (I have no commercial interest in this post).

Some of you may wish to take advantage of the Defender 1st discount program. I was informed via email by Stephan Lance, their President, of the following:

"The Defender 1st Member Program
(...) is being morphed into an annual paid discount program, so I have more latitude with MAP items and for a bunch of other reasons.
It is free to all who sign before the end of this month, though that was not marketed openly. Planning on doing that this week.
All Defender 1st Members (nee Active Captain members) were already transitioned.
When one logs in, they can see the discount price on the web now.

Once this free period ends, it will be an annual fee of $50.00 to join.
