I was just planning to go out to the middle of the pacific and hang until all the Tsunamis got done rolling around and then go looking for some company when the dust settles.

I figure a couple hundred kilos of rice an some buckets of soy sauce, I'll look as good as Brad Pitt to some after the disaster.

Re: ‘Unsinkable’ Yachts Touted as Noah’s Arks by Doomsday Author

I am reminded of this little piece of film history

Quote:
"General "Buck" Turgidson: Doctor, you mentioned the ratio of ten women to each man. Now, wouldn't that necessitate the abandonment of the so-called monogamous sexual relationship, I mean, as far as men were concerned?

Dr. Strangelove: Regrettably, yes. But it is, you know, a sacrifice required for the future of the human race. I hasten to add that since each man will be required to do prodigious... service along these lines, the women will have to be selected for their sexual characteristics which will have to be of a highly stimulating nature.

Ambassador de Sadesky: I must confess, you have an astonishingly good idea there, Doctor.

I think the 10 to 1 female ratio involved only women. But each to their own...........

The good news is that navigation will become a lot simpler - no GPS etc......just a copy of The Babble .

For how long has the end been near? Probably since we evolved into higher thinkers tens of thousands of years ago. It's ironic that only higher thinkers can make such cataclysmic predictions. It's a bit of an oxymoron.

Do you not have GPS on your iPhone or android? It has a built in compass.

No need for that mechanical crap that will break.... and the GPS satellites will stay far above the tsunami......

ps. Elephant Crap does not affect gelcoat. If Bird Crap (highly acidic) can be washed off without a major problem, then the elephant crap (lower pH) is much better. Now, as it would be the end of the world (land) due to flooding, you will probably be growing things on your boat. The elephant crap (known as manure in the gardening circles) is actually the best.

Does that make rabbits Satan's tenders? Or Tender Vittles? I find theology baffling, frankly.
