Unfreezing a twist-to-extend spin pole

Like the title says. Aluminum spin pole. Bit sucker.

Came with the boat, is frozen in an extended position. It has 3 segments. I got one to turn a bit but can't collapse it. Other joint will not turn.

I dribbled lot's of PB Blaster down the joint best I could, tapped it with a rubber mallet all around. Won't budge.

Thoughts?

Thanks in advance.

Try vinegar. Ive not tried it on aluminum to aluminum but have had it help on other corroded metal parts of various composition. Also pull it back out then in again, repeat.
