That's what I thought I was seeing on the map.

From videos I am seeing, there is good snorkeling there. Is this something I would access from the mooring field? Or do you have to leave that lagoon?

So, none of the outlying islands in the Florida Keys are sandy? They are all mangroves?

From what i have seen, all mangrove around Key West. There is Rat Key in garrison bight, near the mooring field, I doubt anyone would say anything if ya tossed up a tent for a few days as a home base, then explore the area on your hobie. Got some pretty water in garrison bight.
