I don't like them getting up at the butt-crack of dawn and start up their generators when anchored nearby or upwind of you.

Pretentious old cruisers who have given up on life, residing permanently in every pleasant anchorage, annoying those sailors who still carry the spirit with their self-righteous opinions, rules and negative attitude.

I'm pretty tolerant. I get annoyed when my boat is jeopardized. usual scene boat comes in and anchors jump off boat take dink to town all within 2 minutes. I'm watching to see how bad they drag do I now need to move etc... One boat went by me early in the morning. A kid was up deck I hollered over your dragging anchor. Okay. I holler back is someone down below that you can tell. They dragged and dragged hung over dad came up and let out more scope they dragged way out into the channel.

Re: Things You Don't Like About Cruisers . . .

The cruising community is uniformly old, white, and from Texas. If you scratch the surface a little it is not a pretty sight. Downright ugly.

We desperately need more Thai monks, African musicians, and Puerto Rican pole dancers.
