I 'splained the reference a couple of posts back. or rather did not detail it as its peculiar to us Brits. (and uncle Donny maybe but thats another subject.....)

Good man there! Implied is probably a better tack than getting the thread shut down!

The strange thing is, Boatie when he reads this, will be wetting himself with laughter as he will know EXACTLY what was said or implied.

Being English is like belonging to an exclusive club with its own language, customs and understanding..... wait...! That IS what being English is.

We have an inverted sense of humour that is tied to the ridiculous and opposite to most other nations..... I missed it a lot when living in other countries for the last 25 years......

Im not going to be chastised for it now....... I will apologised for hurt feelings on the part of others... but we do NOT ever apologise for being ourselves. ITs all we have. Except for atoll who has more boats than a person ever needs.....

Tell me about it! Someone has called me ... wait for it ... their least favorite Cf poster. Talk about yer hurt feelings! I really couldn't respond in that thread, and was going to ignore it completely but this quoted post offered a nice opportunity.

Seriously, I know I'm not for everybody. And genuine apologies to anyone I may have hurt with my lunacy. I've had cabin fever all cold winter long. Thank the gods that's over.

Let's all go outside and play nicely.

Of course.

Wouldn't it be interesting if the mods were to publish the Least Favorite Posters based on Most Ignored buttons pushed?

I'd pay to see that.

OK Weavis, perhaps I missed the Brit humour in your written word--and I do appreciate the humour! But now I'm feeling sad because I must have missed something ....
