Re: The Bucket list (no the other one)

Me I would never go cruising without a few buckets. They are sort of the swiss army knife of er...buckets. Everyone needs one... Where does one go to get the designer Gucci, Prada buckets. Think they are missing out on a market.

Also useful for picking fresh veggies. or hauling feed to the animals (if you live on an ark I'm guessing)

Just remember to mark or color code them. You don't want to confuse the market bucket w/ one reserved for another use . . . like hydraulic oil.

That's awesome! Tell me more.
There are lots of reasons why a bucket is better than a man.
1 it wont run off with your sister, husband or offspring
2 it is usefull in supermarket.
3 it will only empty the bath/bilges not the fridge.
4 if the contents of drinks cabinet end in it you just add lemon and call it a punch.
5 it won't steal the Dink
6 it won't empty your bank accf.
7 a good bucket is easy to find
8 a bucket is never jeaulous of other buckets
9 If you leave a bucket it is usualy there when you come back.
10 buckets can multytask Carry potatoes and vegies
11 you can eat what you want when you want to with a bucket.

I have a policy of never getting involved with a female who feeds from a bucket. YMMV .

Big fan of the bucket. When all else us failing I give it a good kick. Nothing like kicking a bucket to get the spirits up.

DOJ was not always so picky. Back in the old days his best friend fed from a bucket, and mine ate flies....

RJ it gives bucket brigade a whole new meaning. I want to know if anyone has put a few buckets together for a makeshift dingy?

An emergency brake when approaching dock with no engine, remember to hold on to the piece of rope though :-)

Vomit container when you're too sick to get to the rail.

Container for brining bacon, try to use a different one from the vomit bucket.

Re: The Bucket list (no the other one)

IMO you can never have two many 5 gallon buckets on board. Store my dive equiptment in one. Use others to hold deck cleaning products. I also make my own smaller ones to use in and around the cockpit:
