Swan 57rs year1999

I am just about to do a deal on this beauty! Phoned today to Nautor in Finland to ask if the hull construction was poly or vinylester on this yacht. Couldn't get an answer today as they are still on leave. How can I tell what it is?

Re: Swan 57rs year1999

Use an axe and remove a small section of hull no bigger than 1 meter x 1 meter....

I sailed against one in 1999 in a series around the Canary Islands. I was in an Italian one off 68 foot racing boat and the swan 57 beat us including a memorable day where we blew THREE spinnakers!! Thats a hard racing owner.

So have fun with it.
