I have "A Gunkholer's Cruising Guide to Florida's West Coast
, 12th Edition." It is over 10 years old so I supplement it by using Active Captain
and studying my charts
. Lot of nice info on harbors, marinas
, amenities but check re: their status by calling the facility. Great cruising area. Much overlooked. Especially with how crowded the Keys, Bahamas get with the southbound folks from the Northeast - you'll find a lot less of a crowd in some of the most beautiful anchorages
from Little Shark River down south to Anna Maria Island. Cape Romano, Cayo Costa & Cabbage Key are wonderful places to visit. Fair Winds!
