Suunto compass parts

Hi
I have two Suunto model 25 bulkhead compasses. One is leaking from the boot or diaphragm. Otherwise there are in perfect condition. Does anyone know where I might get parts?

I had two B116 compasses. One with a large bubble due to a crack in the dome at the filling screw and the other with a torn diaphragm. I phoned Andrews and was told no parts were available. I took both apart and made one working compass out of them. They are nice compasses. It is a shame.

I have a Suunto hand bearing compass I have had for 50 years and it still works. This stuff was really good quality equipment of far better quality than much of the junk available now. It is a tragedy that we are often obliged to dispose of it for want of spare parts.

Looks like I'm up for new compasses.
It will be hard to match the quality and performance but it's just another part of maintaining a wooden boat.

In my case it was hard (impossible) to match the compass cutout hole diameter and the bolt hole locations. The new Plastimo installation is not something I am proud of, and it was the best I could come up with after looking at the offerings of every compass manufacturer I could find... fender washers, holes to nowhere, and an adapter plate.

I hate it that they abandoned the dome compass market.

I've got a bit of room to move plus being wood there's a lot of possibilities.
I don't like the look of the Plastimo ones but there are a cheaper option. Often the hard part is searching finding the right mix.
