Supporting Membership

My Cf supporting membership auto renewed recently and when I reviewed the receipt it occurred to me that nowhere else for $15.01 per year could I have found the support, encouragement and good advice that I have received from this forum. Do I sometimes have to wade through some less-than-helpful comments? Yes. Are there often 5+ opinions for every 4 persons posting? Yes. Are there numerous kind and experienced sailors who offer newish sailors like myself clear and helpful direction? Yes. Yes.

I've spent lots of $$$ on overpriced sailboat "equipment" and I can honestly say that dollar for dollar this supporting membership has the best ROI yet.

PS:No one asked me to endorse this, I'm just feeling particularly grateful this evening. Fair winds.

Re: Supporting Membership

I agree fully. I know that I could read and comment for free, but putting in a few bucks to keep the forums and help going feels right. I encourage all the free riders to pitch in.
