Stupid Jib Halyard
The shackle came off yesterday just as we unfurled the jib. The sail ended up in the water -right in front of the busy yacht club. The applause came from the marina and the club.

After using a kite halyard to rehoist the jib, we had a great sail. But now I have to find a rig monkey to go and retrieve the halyard. At nearly 200lbs I aint going up there!
Sigh!
