Southern Ionian: Give me your top 3 destinations

Hey all,

We are planning a 7-day southern Ionian (Meganisi, Ithaka, Kefalonia, etc.) charter out of Lefkas in late June, and are doing some rough itinerary planning. There's clearly no shortage of recommendations online if one were to Google "Ionian itinerary" or some such term, but I'd love to hear what you all have to say. Please give me your top 3 "Can't Miss" stops (either lunch stop or overnight). We're looking for a mix of scenic beauty as well as some stops with cultural interest (archaeological sites, museums) or great shopping, hiking, etc. I have the Heikell's book already, and have ordered the Lonely Planet guide as well, but always love to hear personal experiences.
