Not that I dont like company once in a while but I get tired of folks knocking on the hull. "Ahoy there! Anybody aboard?"
They always want to know who designed my boat, when was she built, what kind of wood is she built of, bla, bla, bla. It gets old! But, I guess I shouldnt complain, I'm lucky to have this old girl.
I'd just like to fly a flag that says, "come back later."

If you think kayakers can be bad you should see the situation in my marina these days. A business opened up here renting stand-up paddleboards. All of a sudden they are everywhere, and the people paddling them are mostly first timers. They are paddling around a busy fairway, looking like they might fall over into the 48 degree water at the slightest wake. No wetsuits. They like to give you dirty looks or flip you the bird for daring to drive past them in your own fairway. They also paddle up to boats and peer in the portholes "just to check it out". The only redeeming factor is that they have started a yoga class on paddleboards. A bunch of ladies in lycra get out there in the bay and do yoga while standing on their paddleboards. It's simultaneously impressive and hilarious...

Paddleboarders out in the Sound. I can't wait until they go off and try to flip off a WDOT ferry. I just hope someone is there to rescue them.
I did see a few at Roche harbor-"hey did you know there is a 6 knot current out there??"

I used to have one that said STAND OFF ******* ABOARD !! in black on a yellow background! can't find a pic of it but it was easy to make !! If I can find it in my junk I will photo it and post but Im sure you guys could make one without seeing it LOL
