Some "Hard" Comparisons

Compared to either the Walker Bay ‘Original’ http://www.walkerbay.com which is 8'3" LOA & 71 pounds (81lbs c/w RID Kit) and sells for under $700,
or a Livingston 9 Ft Catamaran http://www.livingstonboats.com/boats.html at 110 pounds,
or a 9' Zodiak ‘RIB’ at 91 pounds -

The “Portland Pudgy” http://www.portlandpudgy.com seems on the heavy side, at less than 8' LOA and 100 pounds.
The basic boat is not cheap (for roto-molded Poly’) at $1,250, which does include a compass, but not oars. The sailing rig ($650), and exposure canopy ($690) add considerably to the total cost. Length: 7'-8", Width: 4'-5", Height: 2'-1", and Basic Weight 100 Lb. The basic hull weighs just over 100 lb. Fully loaded, with all equipment and accessories, it weighs about 135 lb.
