SOLAR PANEL QUESTION

Will solar panels work if under shrink wrap?

I may be hauling my boat for the winter, and if so it will be shrink wrapped. I am wondering if my solar panels will work, granted not very efficiently, when under the translucent shrink wrap. There will be no drain on the batteries at all. Everything will be OFF. I just want the AGM batteries to stay topped up or at least not die for the 5-6 month that the boat will be on the hard.

Thank you for your input.

Not sure how much solar you have, but yes. It will just be as if it’s a cloudy day for them.

Re: SOLAR PANEL QUESTION

I hang a panel off the swim ladder and that seems to work for me
