I ,wife, and 4 pets lived at Chla Vista on our 35ft sailboat for 4 years 1999-2003 . It was great!

Spent a month in Chula Vista Marina last Sept. Great marina, great fellow cruisers. Use of pool, hot tub, very clean laundry & showers. Restaurant /bar at marina.
Think we paid around 1k/month for 2 live aboards plus power.
Long way to ocean, long term a car would be the best.
