I believe that Bull sharks are the species that is responsible for the most attacks.
Most attacks are in shallow
water, often in low visibility.
Bull Sharks are very often found in shallow, low vis
water, so maybe it’s just a matter of your more likely to encounter a Bull while wading off the beach than a Blue?
However Bull’s concern me, they just look powerful and have been aggressive to me, but I’ve not had one seriously make a run at me.
The strongman pose has been sufficient to get me to leave.
A few years ago in
Panama City, they got real bad, never saw one the year before, that year we often terminated dives when Bull’s showed up.
I once rolled off the
boat and turned around to have one three away away from my face, that was startling, but he left, or we think he did anyway we didn’t see him again on the dive.
