I have used the patches and found them to
work well for me but haven't tried the tablets which I would think should be better for shorter passages and I could also try to drop dosage for much calmer passages.
The patches have an activity of 1.5mg which is released at 0.5 mg per day at a slow trickle. Kwells have an active of 0.3mg which you are to have a max of 3 tabs in 24 hrs. Would I be correct in the assumption that I could take 1/2 tab (so 0.15mg) every 4 to 6 hrs so effecting a slower release of around 0.6mg over the 24 hrs thus similar dosage to the patches.
Has anyone actually tried both and if so did they give similar result?
The kwells are only $6 for packet of 10 ($6 for 30mg) compared to patches at around $30 for 2 ($30 for 3mg) which over a 6 month cruising schedule is a considerable
price difference.
BY the way the BOVA compounding travel tablets only have 0.2mg active plus ginger etc and they charge $21.95 plus 10 postage for 10 tablets ($30 for 20mg)
Thanks in advance
