Sandy - Wish I'd had a Rocna:)

The Bounty wasn't the only one with problems during the recent fun on the East Coast. Thought others might enjoy these:

A 168-foot water tanker, the John B. Caddell, sits on the shore Tuesday morning, Oct. 30, 2012 where it ran aground on Front Street in the Stapleton neighborhood of New York's Staten Island as a result of superstorm Sandy.

Ossining, NY, no longer on the Hudson River

Someone is going to be looking for his boat, I doubt he'll check the railroad tracks near the Hudson.

If you want a piece of bent Chinese metal I can whip something up for you right quick.

But to make it like a Rocna, I'll charge you $900.

Wish I didn't have a rocna. They used to be a very good anchor, when they were
Built in NZ. Now they are Chinese junk. I returned one to West Marine fast as I could and bought a Manson. Now that is a good anchor.

Clearly the boats in the pictures had a failure of some kind in the anchoring department. And I had to come up with a name for the thread, so....
