Sailing rags?

What are some good sailing magazines?

I already have SAIL but I was wondering if there were any others out there that you would recommend.

I wish that I could say that I had a good one. I find reading the forums and blogs and buying a book better than most mags and cheeper. After a while they all seem to say the same thing over and over and over .......

Raz,

Depends on your sailing interest, however I subscribe to Sailing magazine, Lattitudes & Attitudes (excellent mag for cruising sailors). There are other ones like Good Old Boat, or Cruisers World, but all depends on your type of sailing.

I think I would like L&A as long as it doesnt cater to people who only have 100' megayachts. I already subscribe to GOB. Too bad there isnt more mags out there like that one.

Thumbs up Good old boat

If I only had one, it would be Good Old Boat

You can get a free issue to see it before you subscribe here.

Their writing is good, good mix of boats, stories, DIY articles, and their policies really reflect a magazine focused on US, unlike some of the others who are more just marketing engines (IMHO).

Didn't someone mention "The Magazine Poll," a thread on this forum that has already covered all of what you saying?
