Sailing Pictures and Video

We have posted some pictures and video from our sailing on the Great Lakes this summer on our web site. Check it out if you get a chance:

Voyages of the June Bug

I might mention that you can ignore the captions on some of the pictures, they are intended for our non-sailing friends.

Aloha Zephyr,
Great photos. Thanks for sharing. That steelhead looked like good eating!!
Na Hoa Holomoku of Hawaii Yacht Club has some photos of our club activities in which I'm really involved but don't have any of just me and my boat except taken years ago in different harbors around Hawaii on a boat I used to own.
Kind Regards,
JohnL

SkiprJohn,

I will have to look at the pics now, in February they will be too painful. You see, here in Michigan we have this stuff that falls from the sky, it's actually just frozen water, but I will depress myself if I go on : )

That is really cool and nicely laid out.

The best thing is having the kids involved. I remind myself everytime I have to chew my son out that the things he will remember are the days on the boat, on and around the water and not the times I have had to "bust his chops."

At almost 10 y/o he is now sailing on his own and even took a little girlfriend for her first sail last weekend in his dinghy. These are definitely the best years and I am glad we have the water and the boat.

Aloha Zephyr,
The only difference between February and August here is that the days are shorter in February. Nighttime temperatures sometimes get down to 55. Brrrrrr!
Luckily I have a fireplace.
