Hi - we are planning to sail from Lefkas to
Cyprus for over-wintering, departing Lefkas the 2nd week of September. I'm keen to hear from anyone who has done this
route, in particular, whether it's best to go through the Corinth
Canal and down through the Aegean to Rhodes and Kastellorizou or whether to go down the Western side of the Peloponnese (Cephalonia, Zakinthos, Peloponnese, Crete, Karpathos, Rhodes). If anyone has planned or sailed this
route, especially around that time of year (September) I would value your
advice on what route you took and considerations (Meltemi? Southern winds?).
Thanks a lot
