Yacht charter Croatia – Sailing Croatia with Ultra Sailing

They have a good Reputation and
are used to deal with international guests.

Bases are nearby intl. Airports and historical towns.

We chartered from them in the past.
Now they do maintain our boat.

Re: Sailing Croatia

Does any body knows a good servicing place to take a sailing boat out of water for inspection in the area between Split or Zadar in Croatia?

Re: Sailing Croatia

One sailing day south of Zadar is Primosten and the Marina Kremik.
Kremik Service is located in the marina area.
Travel lift, hard stand, Service Company, fuel Station ... all there.
Just google them.

Just dropped anchor off Kotor, Montenegro, and will be here for the next 11 days. Please stop by and say hello if you're in the neighborhood.

Re: Sailing Croatia

Hi, yes, we've sailed out of Trogir a few times and had a great time, the town is bustling and exciting and the marina a short walk away, the charter companies we used were Pitter and Waypoint. We sailed to Brac, Hvar, Vis, then back to Trogir via Solta. An amazing trip. Now considering a longer 2 week trip to Korcula and back.

Re: Oh, how much time do you have...

I wasn’t able to access your website but this is very good information. We are bareboating out of Dubrovnik in July.

If you are still planning to go to Croatie, I would highly recommend to stop near Mjet for a day. It's an amazing place.

Anyway, Croatie has a lot of excellent sailing spot !

Maybe you can check out on my company : samboat.com and see if there is a boat that suits your need ! PM me if you need any help

I sail more than 10 years as a professional skipper in Croatia including skipper training on keel yachts and catamarans. Dubrovnik is a beautiful city. You need an afternoon, evening or morning to see the city. If you're unlucky, huge cruise ships will send thousands of tourists across the city. Have fun!
For sailing trips there are nicer places in the middle of the Croatian coast. Better to visit Dubrovnik in a day trip by car.
A very good starting point for sailing trips is Biograd. Very close to the Kornati islands and the waterfalls in Krka and many beautiful islands and turquoise anchorages in the surroundings.
One of the largest charter companies in Croatia is Pitter-Yachting. Fair prices, young yachts, excellent equipment and competent, friendly staff with English knowledge and fair prices. They have a large base in Biograd and are my favourite.

Then you would know if gulets made of steel last longer than those of wood?

For both materials life depends on the care.
With wooden ships, the question of the type of wood used also arises.
Steel has my great sympathy, because you can easily repair or rebuild steel ships everywhere. Electricity (generator?), welding transformer and a piece of steel from the scrap yard can work wonders.
