name ends in an 'a', isn't that bad luck, could be why he got dismasted

he built though, clever and resourceful guy doing something seriously crazy !

Could be or it could also be that the seas he was in made his boat appear more like a surfboard than a 30' plus sailboat.

Wow, awesome video, thanks for sharing. I love the looks of that boat.
I like how he was about to ship the boat back to
France
but then had a second thought; "I have to go around Cape Horn." Awesome.
