Sailboats in Houston?

We have finally made it to Houston! We went to Kemah yesterday looking around for sailboats. Any tips or places any of you recommend? We will also need sailing lessons too, any one you all recommend? Cant wait to get things rolling...or sailing so to speak

Try Houston Yacht Club. Even if you don't join they can probably help a lot finding someone local for classes, and would be my first place to get to know people. Houston actually have a pretty good sailing scene you just need to get keyed into it.

It will have loads of information that will help and guide you, along with many boats for sale.

Also look at another site called "sailboatlistings(dotcom)"

I concur! The Watergate / Waterford area offers just about everything. Brokers, sailing schools, boatyard, and other services.
