I'm conducting an informal
poll about sailboat
storage costs, as well as information and feedback about storing our
boat on the hard in Southern
California...
If you now or have ever stored a sailboat
ON THE HARD anywhere on the
West Coast, please share the following information:
- what business you used and its location
- what kind of boat you stored there
- what you paid per month
- if you were allowed to work on the boat in that location
- whether or not you were pleased with the experience.
We have a 36'
steel sailboat that we might, a couple of years from now, want to store for a while. We will not live near it. FYI: We have friend and
family connections in the following places, which would be most convenient for when we need to
work on the boat. So we are particularly interested in costs and quality of
storage services in these places:
Santa Barbara
Dana Point
Oceanside
San Diego
