I recommend Clark Jelley with Edwards Yacht Sales (561) 676-8445 or (727)-449-8222. Clark is highly ethical and is very effective. He sold my 1982 Pearson 424 Ketch this spring in 6 weeks and helped us buy our 2005 Endeavour Trawlercat.

I recommend Bill Wiard, with Massey Yacht Sales. Total professional and ethical. Long time sailor, delivery boat skipper, was one of the founders of The Moorings. His numbers are 727-824-7262 office, 727-492-7044.

I tried dealing with each one of the brokers mentioned when I was buying, (don't remember any of the sales people), but none of my experiences were positive.

No followup, they would not listen to my requirements, didn't know anything about the boats they were showing, didn't know anything about boats they listed but elsewhere, telling me that issues I pointed out didn't matter and I could go on and on.

I ended up buying privately.
