Rebuild or Replace a Westerbeke W46?

I'm looking at a boat with a very tired Westerbeke W46.

Does anyone have an idea of the cost of rebuilding a W46 or if Westerbeke makes an engine now that fits to replace it? I don't want to get into the hassle of a replacement that requires lots of changes (A buddy put in a new Westerbeke to replace his Perkins 4-108 and the refitting required cost a small fortune).

Thank you in advance for your thoughts.
