By "we," I'm assuming you're excluding the Air National Guardsman who was on RH & who spoke about it for a few minutes starting at the 12:30 mark?

But yeah, by all means, let's wait for some more creative writing at the blog....

We certainly have the Right to ask.
We've been hearing "wait to hear from them", "give them space/time". Well, they have found time to blog and post on FB and here, but no time to tell us anything concrete. Surely they know people want to know about the condition of the boat and the child .. how bad were things really? A short blog/posting could answer most of that I think.

Rebel Heart's Contribution to the Cruising Community
Atoll, regarding 2 single handed moms.
please expand. Did they have prior experience crossing oceans. When they cross with kids did they have experienced crew aboard. They single handed with kids aboard that were infants?
Please give more detail.i have not heard of single handed sailing women with a infant doing a crossing. God forbid this becomes a challenge. I can see it youngest single handed mom with infant circumnavigated.

Of course...just as you have a right to ask a stranger on the bus about their sex life. They then have every right to turn away and start reading their paper unconcerned with what you want. Because you read someone's blog doesn't mean you know them, understand them, or are their friend. We are owed no explanaiton, and honestly, I really don't need to hear/read one because if anything is clear, it is that the FormCruisers will never be happy with their answers/explanatoin no matter how much detail they do or don't give. In fact I almost hope they don't say anything more just to drive the ForumCruisers Crazy.

What I took away from reading Charlotte's latest blog entry was that her spirit was still good and they plan on sailing again.

Please know I meant no disrespect to you or the others who post in other threads besides this one topic. It wasn't yours or their posts. And sorry, I was so confusing but it looks like maybe one of the problems may have been removed (banned?) Some who may have been here for a story. It's just that this has been such a news story or of interest to others looking for gossip on sailing with kids to use elsewhere. There were some who only posted a few posts & only here had brought up negative things from the blog. Unfortunately, another can pop in with new info. I know I sound like I'm paranoid but I know what some will go to in order to get info. I need to get out of LA LA land!

If you want to know so little, why are you still hanging around here? Just to harass those that do?

I see you're a sponsoring vendor. Just curious, but what is it that you sell that people will buy?

Wow Delfin, don't you have enough dogs to take pictures of? You've reached a new low attacking the vendor folks too.
Thought you'd be out to sea by now or updating your blog.

I don't know why that is even relevant. They had a 1yr old that was sick enough to cause them to be concerned so much for her life that they felt compelled to call for help.
The condition of the boat is neither here nor there.
