Re: Real Cruiser's Quiz: How do you stack up?

I think for this thread a readers ability to think of it as humor depends on whether you had read the OP's last thread.

And for those that say "you just don't get the humor", move it to the joke thread and not the general sailing forum. Otherwise this makes real cruisers look like snobs. And the "real" cruisers I know are not.

Please. It's fair game to take a potshot at the OP, since he is taking shots at others. But drop the thread policing. There are very few rules here about what can and what can't be said. Let's leave it that way.

Oh, and coming from a Yorkie, and not just a normal Pommie. I'm taking cover before the Australian Navy can get its cannon loaded

I come from the same stock as Brian Close, Sir Geoffrey and Michael Vaughn, the Bungs don't scare me; well, OK, Dennis Lillie was a bit scary! Besides, they've bought most of their ships from off the Royal Navy; clapped-out rust-buckets that won't make it out of Sydney Harbour.

Of course these are funny. I bet the OP is guilty of a few himself, and he knows it! At least 2 apply to me.28. Your boat is put up in the "off season." Please, are you a sailor or not? (allowances for those where the water gets hard).

30. Need crew.

Love 29.
And you might be right about our navy, but we can leave it to the wildlife to scare people off

0. If you care about someone else's definition of what a "real" cruiser is then you're not.

Stay home and join some snooty club.

No one cares mate! Catch up will you. And I think Groucho had something to say about clubs that I heartily agree with😎
And I'll add one
