Quick brand retractable thruster

Hi All, On our 2014 Hanse 505 the Quick retractable thruster door opens smoothly. Sometimes it remains open, sometimes it reverses and closes automatically. When remaining open, the command control displays three rapid flashes indicating that the problem is with the BTR propeller. When pushing the left or right thrust button I can hear the solenoid clicking at the BTR unit but there is no thrust.



I attempted the procedure for adjustment of the closing limit switch as described in the manual on page 26. I was not able to achieve step 8 which is a flashing red “error” LED light upon retraction of the thruster. The thruster would retract fully without the LED light coming on and flashing red.


I disconnected the motor and it operates fine in both directions.


Any advice would be appreciated.
