Question

We are moving our boat to the Fort Lauderdale area and would sincerely appreciate your recommendations on sailboat, liveaboard friendly marinas.

It seems most marinas in the area cater to power boats.

Thanks in advance for your comments.

Well, I live here in Ft. lauderdale and I know about some good liveaboard docks / marinas.

Ya can pick yer price and options....

Isle of Venice and Hendricks Isle are some good spots.
Showers, pool, pump-out, etc.

Also liveaboard boat yards scattered around if ya are going to work on the boat.

Riverbend is one, Yacht Haven is another, etc.

You might also take a look at www.waterfront-news.com. It is the local boating newspaper, and it always carries classified ads for slips.

Good luck.
