Thanks and I will- was hoping to have an overall view of the market, as it were, to leverage negotiations with them. Doesn't hurt to go in armed with some knowledge in these situations.

It certainly doenst hurt to be informed, but Moorings/Sunsail and their 2cnd tier companies have a very well defined process/business model with strong centralized control. You wont find much room for negotiation there.

They also transition a large volume of boats each year. You are just transitioning one boat...not much of a negotiating position in that.

If you want to negotiate, then find a small 2cnd tier company which is not affiliated with a larger 1st tier company. They are much more flexible.
