I find this interesting, At mid 50's we seem to be the younger crowd out there cruising. I personally think the average cruiser is in the 60's. However my son and his wife just built a boat from scratch and are in their 20's, but not the norm. See how the poll plays out!

We're Gen Xer's in our mid forties.

Just old enough to remember what the beaches used to look like before they were covered in plastic debris. Just young enough to believe that the existence of intelligent space aliens is more realistic than the notion that Social Security will be there for us in our old age.

Trying to get out there while we have the good health to enjoy it. BTW, thanks a lot for the crappy environment you old people left behind. Nice work.

60, with 3rd boat over 47 years sailing and cruising. Oh, as it was asked about professions, I'm a chef. That said, will be a traveling chef with in 2 years.

Some people on this forum do not have boats. Some even have never had a boat and are unlikely to buy one.
