Appreciate all the comments from other Kobra owners. Sounds like this one us a bit suspect, but I may look at finding another one from a different supplier.

Can’t comment on its suitability but from a looks perspective it looks like it was made in a high school shop class.
Are they all like this?

Spade is made in Tunisia, afaik, lots of other anchors are made in the PRC!

No they are definitely not. At least ours is much better.
