Parasailor setting

Hi,
I've noticed photos of Parasailor spinnakers set really, really high off the deck, particularly on catamarans. What is the purpose of flying the parasailor sail so high? To depower? To catch more wind?

short answer is because thats the way they are cut. yes you can trim them flatter but after fooling around for long enough you realize that the higher more rounded shape is the ideal one for power.

the added benefit is you can see forward under them in all but the flybridge cats.
