Re: owners version

Owners version Usually less cabins and the main cabin being larger with a larger bed.

I got it, it is the contrary to charting , right?

At first, I thought "owner's version" was that the boat was made for the owner of the yacht manufacturing firm.

Re: owners version

The major production builders (Bavaria, Beneteau, Jeanneau, etc.) offer larger (>32') boats with several interior layouts. Boats designed for charter fleets generally have two aft cabins. The "owners version" refers to the layout option with a single, larger aft cabin and possibly an adjoining head. Corner galleys are more commonly found in this version, while side galleys are more common to the 2-aft-cabin charter design.

Re: Owners Version

With catamarans you can get 4 cabins, 2 in each hull. But the owners version will have a whole hull for the one masters cabin with larger head.
The kids get one side of the boat the parents get the other.

Nothing to do with chartering as some will be owners versions. Nothing to do with a manufacturers hull number 1 etc
