Woke up just north of Rat Rock in San Pablo Bay, right where we went to sleep, expecting the winds to be WNW we went up to the Petaluma channel with the hopes of trying out the new
spinnaker, instead the
wind had shifted to a southerly and we worked our way back south against the
wind, though it did give the opportunity to play with the new mizzen staysail.
Stayed well clear of main bay and had a great day on the
water. No, won't be doing the Vallejo
Race. We are to other sailing craft what the Good Year blimp is to a jet, but we make a great course marker or committee
boat. But we are comfy cozy in the pilothouse. Have a great race!
