Offshore Colgate sailing course

I'm looking at the intensive cruiser sailing course next month with Offshore Colgate in Florida with program in BVI.

Would appreciate any insights on them good or bad. Would be nice to learn to sail in warm Caribbean weather next month rather than freeze in Northern California
this time of year.

Re: Offshore Colgate sailing course

After a lot of research I am choosing Colgate when I can get my ducks in a row.

I've heard good things and wanted to see if anyone sailed with them before.

Re: Offshore Colgate sailing course

We did an extensive cruiser course with them and had a major problem with one of the instructors. I have to say the problem was settled very professionally so I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them. The other instructors were top notch, so I think it was just one bad apple, the sort of thing that can happen anywhere.
