You think so Stu?

The relevance is people show their predjustice in many areas not just towards cats, some just prefer to be victims more than others, it serves them, they get something out of their sniffling.

The crazy thing is you guys are grown men yet stupid stuff like this effects you a great deal, the emotion in the replies is obvious.

Now anchoring! I sold the anchor I didn't like to Cc44, the anchor I now have is much better than his!! [emoji23]

Yikes I'm getting childish to, I better have my coffee and be an adult again.. Lol.

Merry Xmas and happy new year.

Maybe you need to actually read what I said. I was talking about what I've seen. To say you disagree is nonsensical. You're saying I didn't see what I've seen?

cat/mono is CF thing. Normally started by paid bloggers - increases number of clicks on CF and therefore income.

So, be nice, add more fire so CF generates larger profits and eventually list on NASDAQ

I also would very rarely use an anchor while crossing an ocean. The chain is simply to heavy for 3000m depth. You want at least 3 times the depth on chain, so 10km chain will sink you monohull..

One last word on the subject with a tongue deep in my cheek. Why are the kiwis going back to a monohull for the Americas Cup.

Not really on subject as the subject was ocean crossing but Im guessing it's easier to film and also easier for the spectators to keep track of the monos doing 15 kts as compared to the cats sometimes making over 40 kts of boat speed.

IMO its about getting back to what the race was supposed to be about the skill of the crew and captains. Not how deep the sponsors pockets are.

I would guess it's going to take a pretty skilled captain and crew to sail at 40+ kts as everything is happening pretty quickly.

last AC it seemed more about crew endurance than ability.
