Newport Bermuda Race June 20, 2014

Hey all, we just firmed up that we are racing the 2014 Newport Bermuda Race. Any of you going to be there? We are bring our big Hatteras up to Newport as a staging point and will have a couple of staterooms available for guests.

Shortly after the race start our MY will head for the finish line and meet our Tartan 4100 in Bermuda. Should be a great time.

Currently the Tartan 4100 is in California and we will be sailing it back to the east coast some time after the first of the year.

Lets us know if your going.

Donna

Roughing it, eh?
Good luck. I'm envious. I'll be keeping an eye on the race results and wish you well.

Racing is kind of like going on a blind date. You never know what to expect and when you get to the finish line sometimes your happy and sometimes not!

If I decide to do the race would you mind if I could park my helicopter on the deck of your MY?

Love that race! Have you done it before? Oh, and that's a long run for most Hatt's; is yours a LRC?

Newport -Bermuda can be a lovely long weekend reach, or a 360 mile beat into short, steep chop. It's different every time. Good luck!
