New Jersey Boater Headed to Prison for Eight Years for Fraud

They don't fool around with people in N.J. who file phony insurance claims. Over a period of time, this guy filed claims alleging that five dinghies, five outboard motors, a life raft and a marine tender were all lost at sea. More than $60,000 in claims.

Cost him eight years of his freedom and a $50,000 fine. Ouch.
