Re: New Foul Weather Set $85 - GREAT!

any size suggestions for a 6'2" male with long legs? This looks like a good deal for my first set of foulies, but I've never bought 'em before so not sure about the size.
thanks!

How much do you weigh? Suit coat size or shirt size?

MattAZ .... a L or and XL, depending upon what you need in the jacket (chest size) -- just buy what you would typically buy in any jacket. The legs are pretty long and fit my friend of 6'0' with some length to spare (XL). But the good thing about a bib, unlike a trouser style that has to fasten at the waist, is you can let the suspenders down if you need them longer in the inseam.

This is a great set for your first pair .... I think they're great for a fulltime sailor. I hope this helps you.

Re: New Foul Weather Set $85 - GREAT!

Outside US they charge 30usd more. It is the international fee. Just talked to customer service, Even if I ship inside the states. In my case to florida, I have to pay international fee. My mastercard is from europe....
Im looking for a bargain....Always.... I dont understand the problem, Ill got a boat so I buy stuff online all the time but nobody charges extra for my foreign card!
If you are outside the states check the online proxy browser, http://unblockedpages.com then overstock gives you the US price

Ill better find a way around.... The extra charge is on each item....

Nice bargain!

I'm pretty skinny -- I weigh 165 maybe, so I'm sure the L jacket would be fine, but like I said I have long legs at 6'2". I'm crossing the Atlantic for the first time this summer, and this seems to be a good deal... I'm just worried such a cheap deal will conk out on me in the middle of the trip.

How long do deals like this stay available?

thanks!

At Overstock.com, the deals are there until they sell out. They do not restock Matt. Suggestion: You could always order them, see what you think, return them if you don't like them. They are free shipping to you. One poster said they got them for $69 .... not sure how they got a $20 discount, but you might ask. Great deal either way. Good luck too you.

I have a son like you .... 6'4 and 170 (now 190) .... LOL. All legs. I would go with a large,

Re: New Foul Weather Set $85 - GREAT!

OK thanks for the heads up. It's $160 to me in Canada unfortunately ($17 S+H and $30 duty/taxes...) but still sounds like a good deal.

Re: New Foul Weather Set $85 - GREAT!

The flip side: 10 years ago I bought a Helly Hansen sailing jacket. On sale for $175. Used extensively and this spring I cleaned it and discovered it had de-laminated. Looked on their website and there was a statment of lifetime warranty. I contacted them, sent the jacket to them for inspection and got a return email that I had a $350 credit for anything on the Helly Hansen website. That is service!!
