Given the amount of reading I do, I’m not very tempted to spend much time translating “gibberish” into readily comprehensible English. If an author doesn’t care enough to present his/her information “correctly”, why should I care enough to read his/her offering?

Perhaps the high amount of activity at least partially relates to how the forum is managed?

We encourage members to write in a way that makes it easy for others to read their posts. But we do not discipline anyone for not doing so. Not having perfect grammar or English skills is perfectly fine. Just try your best.

I think it's a great policy. I wish all fora did the same. Personally, when I see one of those enormous blocks of text with no punctuation I just move on. If you want me to read it, write it properly.
