Mounting solar panel to davits

I was fortunate to acquire a very nice second hand rigid solar panel which is to be mounted on top of our davits. (56 inch / 26 pound)

I would be interested in seeing how others have accomplished the same.

Specifically, I believe 3/16" aluminum flat bar would be the best cross member on the panel itself. And a 1 inch tube cross member on the davits is needed, as the davits are 1 inch tube.

I found this split mount (below) and it looks sturdy but would not provide any tilting of the panel. Some form of pivot would be cool.

How have you mounted your panel on your davits?
