You may be right. If such is the case, then it's time for this forum to mature a bit, for certain.

The point is that to real cruisers, the type of boat you have, as well as the brand of boat you happen to have purchased, is greatly secondary to whether you understand how to get from point A to point B.

Could be. We roll in seas of more than 4 or 5 meters, if they hit us right (or wrong, depending on your point of view), sometimes violently. We roll at anchor if we're exposed to the weather. I can imagine that, as another advantage of cats. Rolling is unpleasant, no question about it.

But in terms of speed it sounds like we're right with you.
