I (and possibly others) have always thought about this as the reaction of a caveman suddenly brought into the present, or our own reaction if we were suddenly transported into the distant future. It is just delightful to be reminded of all the magic that surrounds us right now. Thanks, SB1.

My magic trick is making those invisible electrons manifest themselves as smoke.

Sometimes I accompany the manifestation with a loud BANG!
At other times I just make all the lights go out.
Now and again I get all three at once.

I'm quite good at it.
